Bethesda Responds to Fallout 76 BETA Feedback In advance of Final Release In the near future

In an article to the official Fallout 76 subreddit today, Bethesda Game Studios addressed several of the Fallout 76 community’s biggest concerns in connection with current state of your game.

While the broad reaction to Bethesda’s post has been of appreciation, the answers provided end up with scratched the outer lining of a lot of the many problems reported, and you should not offer very concrete solutions.

Here is definitely the variety of what Bethesda has promised will be either addressed “on or around launch” and/or what they’re looking at remedying “post-launch”:

  • Ultra-Wide Support: I will support 21:9 post launch. Once available, or shortly before, i will be apt to post our patch notes so that you can know when to expect it.

  • Larger Stash Size: We’ve seen this one come about lots and see the frustration. Even though the Stash size at 400 weight limit will get simpler to handle after a while, carry out look forward to increasing it sooner or later.

  • Push-to-Talk: Basically endeavor to build a consistent experience whichever platform you’re on, can certainly that most of you on PC desire the opportunity for Push-to-Talk. Our goal with voice chat standing on automagically is usually to highlight the world is alive with real people, other players just like you. We love first of all encouraging player interaction and definately will look into adding this down the road.

  • FOV Slider:?We have not supported FOV sliders within our previous games as it is known to kick many animations causing plenty of clipping prefer onscreen. You actuallyhave the alternative to zoom out in third person on PC by holding View and moving the mousewheel, but we will never be able to already have it for first person view.

  • Exploits of Various Types: Many exploits we have seen reported have been known and addressed from a future update.

  • Issues with social menu and inviting friends/making teams/etc.:?Those who were experiencing complaints about the social components will see that many of these problems have been fixed. We will still fix issues as they arise faster than you can easliy, so keep letting us know adding special promotions into them.

  • Hunger not being sated:?Some were saying their “Hunger bar” wouldn’t replenish regardless how much they ate or how cleared of diseases they had been. This challenge has become addressed and will be from a future update so no more hungry dwellers.

  • Loud Gunshot/Noises:?The problem of players hearing sudden random gunshot/loud sounds around Appalachia shall be addressed within a future update near launch.

This list addresses all of the Fallout 76 BETA problems we noted in this article on the subject, except the challenge of the display name being bound to your Gamertag/Bethesda.net account.

However, the perfect solution is with the push-to-talk dilemma looks like it’s “we prefer it that way” and Stash Box size doesn’t seem like it will be unlimited. We’ll see just what final release brings next week.

You will find Bethesda’s post from the Fallout 76 subreddit here.

Fallout 76 is scheduled to be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC on Nov. 14.
